Foundation stone for Kanjikode Coach Factory to be laid tomorrow
The foundation laying ceremony of the rail coach factory at Kanjikode will be held here at the Cheriya Kotta ground.
The foundation stone is scheduled to be laid by Union Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi Tuesday.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Minister of State fro Railways K.H. Muniyappa and the Kerala minister who has the charge of Railways Aryadan Mohammad will participate in the function.
However, opposition leader V S Achuthanandan has claimed he was not extended a proper invitation by Railways for the function.
