The artistes’ association AMMA supported Nithya and the exhibitors’ federation, who incidentally is in a tussle with the distributors, also announced their allegiance for the heroine.
AMMA president Innocent has come out in support of Nithya Menon in the ongoing tussle between the actor and the Kerala Film Producers’ Association. Innocent said the actors’ association will hold discussions with the producers and try to find a solution.
The Kerala Distributors Association, in support of the producers, had lately issued a circular asking its members not to take up Nithya Menon’s films ‘Bachelor Party’, directed by Amal Neerad, and ‘Ustad Hotel’ by Anwar Rasheed.
A number of film producers are also members of the distributors’ association. Meanwhile, Nithya’s latest film, ‘Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty’ has not met with any opposition.
